Cutaneous Immunofluorescence

Surgical Pathology Testing

Cutaneous Immunofluorescence

Cutaneous immunofluorescence (IF) is used to diagnose a wide variety of lesions associated with IgG, IgM, IgA, C3, and Fibrinogen deposition.

Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services accepts skin specimens for IF and will package them to be sent to Mayo Clinic Laboratories for testing. The tissue should be submitted in Michel’s transport media, this is available upon request by calling 941-8252.
